Feminist videos

Emma Watson’s UN speech reaches out to male advocates to support equality.  She speaks of the need of feminism around the world for women and men to not be judged for being less submissive or less aggressive. Watson understands that freedom will come when we are seen in a spectrum and not opposing sides of characteristics. With powerful words, she invites us to become part of this revolutionary movement.

Comedian Katie Goodman points out celebrity comments that seem to be either against feminism or that they do not identify with it at all. She clarifies in sing song that they have not realized that they are part of the movement and negating the name. Goodman brings common events from our history shedding light on politic and economic injustices directed towards women.

Marina debunks myths about feminism in a sarcastic comedic tone. She explains typical thoughts uneducated people understand to be true about the topic. This Youtuber explains the fallacy in the ideas of hating men and women, how feminists look, feminists who wear make-up, cat-calling, and other topics in a passive aggressive manner.

Feminist articles

When seven year old Charlotte complained of there being too little “girl people” in her toys, Nayla Ziadeh decides to elaborate on the situation all girls have been going through with pink fluff and dolls. She exposes how female role models stay in occupations that do not need physical strength or are separated for their gender and not their achievements. Even so, she explains that there should be more “girl people” and not just super heroines for us to look up to.

Hanna Thomas explains how some feminist are guides by the same ideals of the suffragettes in their times. Women unite for a cause that searches for the good of both sexes. They use important dates from the suffrage movement as key points to not only commemorate their relevance but to make an alliance among women.

Feminism is not merely for educated women who have no children and are leaders of crowds and providers of powerful speeches. Annika Spalding mentions how she felt insecure that she was not portraying the feminism her colleagues wrote or spoke about. She wondered if feminism was reaching other audiences like women who lack resources or do not know the English language but live in the states. Spalding understand it should reach any and all levels of our society regardless of their advancements.

Activists aim to have women participate in all aspects of life. They set global standards to achieve gender equality. The organization works with governments and civil society to design laws, policies, programs and services needed to implement these standards. Their desire is to improve resources and accountability on gender equality in various countries. This way it will make gender equality the central for development planning.

The agency reaches out to increase women's leadership and participation regardless of the area. It educates on the ending of violence against women, therefore ending the circle of violence in the family ambiance as well. It tries to engage women in all aspects of peace and security processes. This would include an array of people helping out the cause with no distinction of gender and sex.

Never fear! I, a young Christian tv host with equality between men and women as my base value, will help clarify doubts about this revolutionary movement.

I am a young, not so tall, white skinned tv host, with dark brown hair, and glasses. My purpose is to educate you for you to continue to do the same for this generation.

Greeting, professor;
My name is Paloma Martínez Estrada and I was assigned to write a letter to someone influential. You were my first choice. My chosen topic is "Feminism in our Post Modern Era". There is relevance where this topic surfaces various key points in our decade's changing status. Feminism is the most powerful equality movement we've been challenged to defend. It includes equality between females and males in the social roles, the unification of disabled people with people who don't have disabilities, and the acceptance, respect and tolerance of genders recently afloat.

My skills in conveying a message easy to relate to are proficient, I have good diction and I am understanding towards my colleagues. This topic is important because its goal aims for a common wealth and greater surroundings.

This is a respectful request for you to inform students or acquaintances about a few of the ideals in the feminist movement developing around the world. It is better to provide the commentary when the time arises or to provide an input in a conversations about the possibilities about the intentions of a person who calls himself or herself a feminist.

Thank you for your time.
Farewell,
Paloma Martínez Estrada
